This variation was used on Colt Diamondback from ca. 1977-1978, although not shown in the catalogs until 1980. Finished with a tinted clear coat to replicate the original factory finish.
The original 1st generation grips came with either silver or gold medallions, and you can choose a color below.

Just got my grips and I am stunned. The seams are tight and sharp, but the most amazing thing is how you mated up exact mirror image grain lines from two different pieces of wood so they came together in perfect matching V’s of wood grain on the bottom of the grip. The screw holes are precise and the screws fit the holes like a glove…….and when you snug up the screw on the gun the screw is the perfect length! It’s the little things that make the difference. Oh,….and the screws are the correct type just like the originals. Once again the little details that make the difference.
I just turned around and ordered some more of your grips.
