This variation was used on the late WWII Walther PP pistols. They were developed to save the valuable plastic material used for the standard grips, and were only used for a short time in a seemingly random fashion. Our reproductions are copied from mint original WWII grips, and also include accurate reproductions of the original hardware with the “big and little” inserts.
They will also fit any .32/.380 cal PP and PPK/S regardless of vintage and manufacturer, for example if you want to dress up an Interarms or S&W PPK/S. They will NOT fit “clones” with a cast frame, like the .22 cal Umarex/Walther guns, CO2 BB guns, airsofts etc.

Purchased these grips for my early pre war Walther pp. The original “x” brace grips had shrunk slightly over the years causing the trigger reset to occasionally hang up. I wanted to shoot the gun and preserve the original grips. so I put on a pair of these “ersatz” grips. They fit perfectly and the trigger reset issue is solved. They were a little lighter in color than I wanted so I darkened the finish with a little wood dye. These are fantastic replacement grips for your Walther. Shipping was quick and these guys are a delight to talk to as well. Highly recommended.

Just received my Walther grips and I have to say they look and feel great. My gun is a new production Arkansas PPK/s and while I liked my stock grips they were very slim which I usually like however on the new pistols the backstrap of the grip is extended to avoid hammer-bite. This extension also causes the web of your hand to ride against the sharp contours of the grip (In my case my gun actually bloodied my hand haha). Obviously, this design was for duty and not comfort so it’s understandable. The wood replacement grips fill the hand and allow a wider hold which will help dampen the recoil. I haven’t gotten a chance to shoot with them installed yet but just holding the gun now is a world of difference. Now I just need those Ruger Nambu grips and I’ll be set.

The fit and finish of these grips is superb! As another reviewer noted, these are thicker than the stock plastic grips, allowing a firmer hold on the pistol when shooting. They look outstanding on my late wartime PP.
