CZ vz. 52 – SOLD

$425.00

CZ vz. 52, 7.62×25

The CZ vz. 52 (or CZ52 for short) is a rugged service pistol manufactured at the Ceska-Zbrojovka state factory in Czechoslovakia, and chambered in the potent 7.62x25mm Tokarev. It was only produced 1952-1954, with about 200,000 pistols built. One thing that sets this pistol apart is that it utilizes a roller locking system similar to what was used in the WWII German MG42 machine gun, and later on in Heckler & Koch’s G3. HK91, Mp5 and other rifles. This system makes it extremely robust, and since it was built for the Czechoslovakian M48 round (about 20% hotter than the original Russian pistol round) it can easily handle any Tokarev ammo on the market.

This pistol was bought by a collector many years ago, and has not been fired since it came to the US. It was made in 1954 and does not have the “VOP” arsenal rebuild stamp, so looking at the condition we suspect that this is an unissued surplus pistol in original factory finish. Comes with original holster, lanyard, cleaning rod plus an US manual from the importer.
