Arisaka Type 99, 7.7×58mm Arisaka

Juki Kogyo was one of the smaller manufacturers of the Arisaka 99, with only 41,000 27th series rifles made. This amounts to about 1% of the total production, which make these rifles rather scarce.

This rifle displays the usual “last ditch” characteristics, like a nailed wooden butt plate, fixed sights, welded safety buttons and a crude, non-removable front barrel band. The mum has some punch marks, but is largely intact. The bolt is unnumbered with a mismatched extractor.
